Onofre Pouplana Domingo is Product Owner of GPM Portal. He graduated in information science and own a master’s degree in digital content management; he joined the company 8 years ago as a UX designer and one year ago was promoted to Product Owner of GPM Portal. His responsibilities include managing a team of developers, coordinating product development and its quality, investigating the user experience.


How is the GPM Portal department facing the challenges caused by COVID-19?

The GPM Portal team has been very concerned with restructuring the internal organization. Since the product development work can be done remotely, also face-to-face daily planning meetings have been moved to digital environments.

The contact with the client has not faced any challenge. The assistance has been reinforced so that the client has been accompanied at all times and in any situation.
Which new measures have you taken and how they have improved your work?

At the organizational level, we have moved all our physical meetings to a digital environment.

We have recorded of all key meetings to keep the team informed of all product details and updates. By adopting these measures the problem-solving process and the quality control of product characteristics have been improving.
How is the GPM Portal department contributing to GPM’s success?

The entire GPM team put the customer at the core of his priorities, the GPM Portal team is not an exception.

Our priority is to offer excellent user experience. We spend a lot of time analyzing what the real needs of the user are, how we can automate tasks, ensure scalability and efficiency of operations, and how we can offer them the best tool to manage their assets and effectively track their KPIs.

GPM has more than 700 customers worldwide and at the basis of this trust lies the constant improvement of the product. The product is never completed because we always strive to offer the best version of it.
