GPM is constantly working on technical and managerial alert improvements.
To support operators to tackle this increasingly complex situation, we have developed a new alert status: “On hold”. Operators and managers can use this status to prioritize active alerts in the alert grid.
By keeping a clear view of the most urgent alerts, experts will be able to use their resources more efficiently. The “On hold” status is meant to be used for less important incidences, flaws that do not affect production performance, and temporary events that can be resolved in the short- or medium-term, among others.
Operators can also keep control of all alerts in a customized manner, modify their statuses as their severity changes over time. One of the fundamental aspects of this is that all information related to alerts that are on hold can be reported and assessed by the teams of experts. This creates a feedback cycle that helps them improve their own alert management processes.
