GreenPowerMonitor has been selected to manage Santiago Solar, a 115MW solar plant built by the Spanish firm Elecnor, which is in charge of engineering, procurement and construction as well as putting the plant into operation.
The facilitiy is being built in the Til-Til community, in the Santiago metro region and it will be managed through GPM monitoring solutions.
The project foresees the installation of 372,240 photovoltaic modules to collect solar energy thanks to a surface of 500 acres (202 hectares) and it is expected to generate approximately 210GWh per year. This would help to cover the energy needs of the region and to promote the value renewable energies can add to our society with a cleaner and greener future.
