GreenPowerMonitor will be taking part in 2 international events next week

GreenPowerMonitor will be taking part at the next edition of WindEurope’s Annual Event Electric City 2021, taking place in Copenhagen on 23-25 November. It will comprise all about renewables-based electrification. A full exhibition and conference. Speakers will include Ministers, policy-makers, CEOs, NGOs, finance and academia. Several National Energy Ministers have already confirmed. And there’ll be over 300 companies exhibiting.  Here’s the conference programme.

Edoardo CicirelloWind Domain Expert at GreenPowerMonitor, a DNV company, will be presenting next Wednesday 24th of November at the Reducing operational costs onshore panel: Practical applications of digital twins: case studies from the real world.

Operations and maintenance (O&M) costs still represent a significant fraction of the overall levelized cost of energy (LCoE) from wind turbines. Better estimates of loads and remaining useful lifetime (RUL) can facilitate longer component lifetimes and further reduce LCoE. To reduce O&M costs and make more informed choices requires well-placed measurements, smart use of data and improved turbine models.

This session will:

• Explore the use of artificial intelligence to make use of turbine data to predict RUL and make informed O&M decisions.
• Investigate the use of both wind turbine Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and higher frequency Condition Monitoring System (CMS) data for predictive maintenance.
• Present sensor solutions for monitoring potential faults and predicting possible failure.
• Unpick the hype around ‘digital twins’ and show what they can actually do in practice.

On the other side of the world, we will be attending Energyear Andina 2021 in Medellin, Colombia.

energyear andina

The next 24th and 25th of November, our team members Chiara Secco, Country Manager Mexico & BD Manager America and Laura Casla, Business Development Analyst, will be taking part at Energyear Colombia.

Energyear Andina will bring together more than 250 executives who are at the forefront of leading companies in the renewable sector in person and hundreds of others virtually to discuss real investment opportunities in the sector in the short and medium term, policies, regulations and government plans as well as on disruptive technologies that will make possible the sustainable development of energy projects, among other issues.

Colombia continues to bet decisively on clean energy and more and more companies are investing in the renewable energy sector in Colombia. Recently presented the Green Hydrogen Roadmap in Colombia, it suggests that Colombia will lead in the energy transition with government policies and plans that are at the forefront and with an expansion of renewable projects.

Book a meeting with the team by sending an email to chiara.secco@greenpowermonitor.com or to laura.casla@greenpowermonitor.com.

See you soon!
