GreenPowerMonitor (GPM) announced today that they have signed a Master Service Agreement with EDF Renewable Services (EDF RS) in order to integrate GreenPowerMonitor’s monitoring, control and asset management solutions into EDF Renewable Service’s portfolio of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants.

With this agreement in place, the GPM PV+ solution will be integrated into EDF Renewable Services’ facilities as an all-inclusive Asset Administration SCADA platform to manage its broad portfolio of photovoltaic installations across North America, allowing automated reporting and real time assessments.

EDF RS is maximizing their fleet management efficiencies to better serve their client base utilizing GPM solutions. The PV+ solution provided by GPM is a scalable option to fit EDF RS’s growth expectations for years to come.

EDF Renewable Services’ Operations Control Center will also use GPM PV SCADA, a local SCADA monitoring and management solution used in-plant, to augment its comprehensive control over devices, plant performance, automated communication with utilities and regulatory bodies, and an immediate assessment of plant status. EDF RS expects to reduce plant operating costs for their portfolio in the near term and increase production in the long term as they continue to utilize the tools provided by GPM.

Tor Blackstad, GPM CEO in US, stated, “All of us at GPM are pleased to be signing this agreement with EDF Renewable Services.

We are excited to further develop the partnership between our two organizations and provide our fleet management solutions. EDF RS is among the cream of the crop for PV project development and O&M services, it is an honor to be working so closely with such a great team.”
