GreenPowerMonitor began its business development in Brazil, through an interesting and pioneering project in the Bahía area, which will become the first state in the country to have a hybrid complex generation of wind and solar energy.

The project will have an installed capacity of 26.4 MW: 21.6 MW from wind power and 4,8MW from solar energy. In addition, the plant will have 20,000 photovoltaic panels and an average production capacity of 12MW, equivalent to the consumption of a city of 130,000 people.

Latin America is one of the areas with the highest growth forecast and GreenPowerMonitor is one of the leading companies. Its current portfolio exceeds 650MW distributed among projects in Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay.

GreenPowerMonitor is pleased to be part of this huge step to a better and greener Brazilian energy.
