GreenPowerMonitor started its international expansion in Chile in 2013 from where the company developed a successful strategy in LATAM with a current portfolio of more than 800MW. Recently, the company added three new solar projects in the country which added almost 60MW to its figures.
The first two projects are located in the commune of Marchigüe, one of the most populated regions with large energy needs. Both photovoltaic plants with a capacity of 18 nominal MW in total, which will be managed by GPM PV+, a perfect Asset Manager for renewable portfolios.
The third solar project is located in La Ligua, in Chile’s central Valparaíso region, and it is a 40MW PV plant part of a huge energy complex. It will consist of 159,016 PV panels of 240Wp each across 180ha of land and it will also be monitored by GPM PV+ solution.
